One of six clinical commissioning groups in Surrey, we are made up of the nine GP practices (10 surgeries) in the Borough of Surrey Heath.

We are responsible for the commissioning (buying) of health services for our population of 90,000 local people registered at our practices; taking over from the existing NHS Surrey Primary Care Trust.

We have a budget of around £108million which will be used to plan local health services for our community.

Our GP practices form the heart of the CCG, and our Governing Body includes clinicians from across all nine practices (10 surgeries).

To find out more about the role of Clinical Commissioning Groups, please visit the What is a Clinical Commissioning Group section of our website, or view our newly published Health Prospectus for 2013/14

We have been working together since 2005 and in 2010 became a 'first wave' CCG pathfinder.
